Hello! I’m Sidharth Chaudhary, a Computer Systems Engineer with a passion for building solutions that bridge the gap between software and hardware. My journey began with a fascination for how things work, from the intricacies of a computer’s architecture to the mechanics of a motorcycle engine. This curiosity has guided my career, pushing me to constantly learn and apply engineering principles across diverse fields.

My Professional Journey

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Georgia’s Honors Program, graduating cum laude. My academic experience was fortified by practical application, including my time as a Flight Software Developer with the UGA Small Satellite Research Laboratory, where I developed satellite communication software using C and C++.

My work extends beyond academia and into real-world applications. As a freelance Computer Systems Engineer, I founded Lunar Foundry, a Unity asset publishing venture, where I leveraged my skills in Blender, Unity, and C# to create functional 3D assets. I also designed and implemented a hardware analog signal equalizer, a project that combined my knowledge of circuits and Python programming for automated testing.

My passion for building things has also been recognized through various projects, including leading my team to achieve first place in the Hardware category at UGA Hacks 8 and designing a single-cycle computer with Verilog for a Computer Architecture class. My diverse project experience—from creating an augmented reality program for Gulfstream Aerospace to developing a Python program for reliable network communication—demonstrates my adaptability and a comprehensive understanding of the engineering lifecycle.

Technical Expertise

My technical skills are the foundation of my work. I have experience across a wide range of technologies, including:

  • Languages: C, C++, C#, Verilog, Assembly, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • 3D Modeling & Engines: AutoCad, Fusion360, Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine
  • PCB Design: Autodesk Eagle, Altium
  • Databases: MongoDB
  • Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, macOS, Zephyr
  • Version Control: Git

Beyond the Code

When I’m not immersed in a new project, my time is spent pursuing a few key passions that keep me grounded and inspire my creative problem-solving.

I find a unique sense of freedom and mechanical challenge in riding and working on motorcycles. It’s a hobby that demands precision, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of complex systems, much like my engineering work.

I am an avid reader, constantly exploring new ideas and perspectives in both fiction and non-fiction. This hobby helps me stay informed and think creatively about challenges. You can check out my published books on my Books page.

Finally, I enjoy video games, both as a player and as a designer. My experience in this area, including founding Lunar Foundry and developing games, fuels my interest in interactive systems and user-centric design.

I’m always open to new opportunities and collaborations. Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn or explore my projects on GitHub.
